CIO, Head of Digitalisation & IT at Debrunner Koenig AG
Marcel Dähler started his CIO career in 2012 at Angst+Pfister AG, an internationally active trading company. From 2015 to 2022, he took over IT responsibility at Loomis International Corporate AG, later Loomis Schweiz AG, and has been in the role of Head of Digitalisation & IT at the Debrunner Koenig Group since 2022.After studying to become an IT engineer HTL/FH at the Brugg-Windisch School of Engineering and after further training to become an industrial engineer FH STV, Marcel Dähler began as a software developer and later held various management positions, such as head of software development, deputy head of IT through to head of group-wide IT in an international, technical trading company and memberships of the executive boards.
Marcel Dähler is currently Head of Digitalisation and IT at Debrunner Koenig AG, where he is responsible for digitalisation initiatives and smooth IT operations for 1500 employees at 40 locations in Switzerland.
In addition to strategic planning, budgeting, personnel management and administrative management, Marcel Dähler's other experience includes the implementation of projects in the areas of infrastructure in- and outsourcing, operating processes, training, M&A migrations, operation and migrations of specialist applications such as ERP systems, DSGVO, ISO certifications, also in the role of quality manager or data protection officer.
